I. Theoretical part - lectures
1. Theoretical approaches to the studium of macroregions; - Identification, definition, attributes and characteristics of macroregions 2. Principles and factors producing and influencing macroregional division of the World: - cultural, geopolitical, geoeconomic and economic; 3. Basic methods and specificity of regional (macroregional) analysis 4. Macroregions of the World, their imporrank in the hierarchy of world economy and within present geopolitical order 5. Division and structure of selected macroregions of the world: cultural homogeneity versus social and economic heterogeneity 6. Character of regional differentiation, disparities on the level of states and regions 7. Internal socioeconomic structure and specialization within macroregions II. Working part. 1. Delimitation of macroregions. 2. Discussion of thematic orientation - subject - of work. - selection and discussion of approaches, methods to the specific themes and subjects. 3. Collection and aquisition of literature, statistical and other data sources and their analysis. 4.-6.Work on individual seminary projects; mutual consultations, information on experiences etc. 7. Část teoretická, přednášková: 1. Teoretické přístupy ke studiu regionů a makroregionů. 2. Vymezení, definice, atributy makroregionů. 3. Principy makroregionální diferenciace (obecně a světa): geopolitický, geoekonomický a hospodářský, kulturní, resp. etnický a náboženský. 4. Makroregiony světa, jejich postavení, hierarchie ve světové ekonomice, politice. 5. Základní metody regionální analýzy a specifika makroregioální analýzy. 6. Členění a struktura vybraných makroregionů světa, kulturní homogenita versus sociálně ekonomická heterogenita. 7. Charakter regionální diferenciace makroregionů, hloubka a vývoj rozdílů mezi zeměmi a regiony v rámci makroregionu. 8. Vnitřní struktura (specializace) vybraných makroregionů; analýza makroregionů na bázi odvětvového (tematického) přístupu. Část cvičební (seminární), jejímž výsledkem je zpracování seminární práce: 1. konrétní vymezení makroregionů 2. diskuse předmětového zaměření práce 3. sběr a hodnocení literatury, statistických zdrojů 4. výběr a diskuse přístupů, metod a analýz využitelných pro zpracování dat 5. konzultace, práce nad jednotlivými makroregiony a tématy 6. Vzájemné doplňování informací o jednotlivých makroregionech a jejich studiu 7. referáty, diskuse poznatků a 8. finalizace, redakce a úpravy prací pro možnou publikaci
Podmínky pro udělení zápočtu: cca 20 stran dlouhá seminární práce zabývající se vybraným makroregionem světa z určitého hlediska. Podmínky pro splnění zkoušky: přijatá seminární práce, ústní zkouška věnovaná problematice makroregionální diferenciace světa, přístupům ke studiu makroregionů a příslušnému makroregionu na bázi předložené seminární práce.
