Definition, purpose and goals of the field engineering geology, the role of engineering geology among other geological and technical fields, systems of designation and description soils and rocks in engineering geology, used systems of classification of soils, methods of engineering geological mapping, methods of engineering geological investigations, geodynamical processes, main types of slope movements, volume changes of soils, remedial measures in rock mass, soil and rock properties, tasks of engineering geological investigation in different fields of man-made technical activities (foundation soil, foundation methods, geotechnical site investigations for surface and subsurface construction, engineering geological problems in open pit mining, environmental engineering geology), regional engineering geology
