The main objective of the course is to maximise students‘ knowledge within their work with computer technology, which is necessary for its basic applications as well as the passing of other courses with a technological focus. The students will be acquainted with the most frequently used functions of basic software programmes (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint) they will use when dealing with selected tasks including the wrapping of the documents whose parameters correspond with the rules of the department for the formatting of qualification works. The instruction will also include the vital part of the presentation of the possibilities and strategies of the search for demographic and geodemographic information on the Internet.

The course is completed by a credit, which will be awarded on the basis of meeting the conditions of attendance (maximum one unexcused absence) and the elaboration of continuously assigned individual tasks. By the end of the credit week, all exercises assigned at the seminars must be submitted.
