The lecture consist also of working with LMS Moodle, a course creation, role playing (author, tutor, student) etc.

Learning outcomes -

Learning outcomes:

  • The student will describe an introduction to distance education (DiV) and its importance in the current educational system.
  • The student will analyze the history and different types of DiV, including their advantages and disadvantages.
  • The student evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of DiV from the perspective of different groups of learners.
  • The student explains the process of distance learning and the relationships between participants, including the roles of tutor, facilitator and learner.
  • The student will explain the key aspects of effective communication in DiV.
  • The student will work with LMS Moodle, LMS Google Classroom and other learning management systems, including their features and capabilities.
  • The student engages in course work, completes assignments and actively participates in discussions.
  • The student designs and administers the course, applying the skills learned in previous modules.
  • The student creates documents and multimedia appropriate for DiV.
  • The student prepares a video design of a chemistry experiment to meet the needs of DiV.
  • The student will design activities to assess progress through distance education.
