Zkoušku z chemické struktury může skládat student, který má zápočet ze cvičení. Rozsah znalostí potřebných ke zkoušce je dán sylabem. Vzhledem k těsné provázanosti jednotlivých přednášek v rámci předmětu je kladen zvýšený důraz na práci studentů již v průběhu semestru. Zkouška je písemná a sestává ze tří částí:
Ke splnění zkoušky je třeba získat 51 a více % (51-65% … dobře, 66-80% … chvalitebně, 81-100% … výborně). |

1. Atom. Quantum chemical postulates, one-electron atoms and ions, model of independent electrons, SCF method, variational principle, spectroscopic symbols, spin-orbital coupling, atomic spectra. 2.
