Annotation -
Analytical chemistry is an applied research area aimed at the study of chemical composition of various materials and at the development of new methods of analysis. The main goal of the lecture is to make the students acquainted with the structure and basic tools of this specialization and to provide an overall survey of the principles of selected analytical methods, their significance in practice and possible applications. In course of seminary the basic approaches to the evaluation and statistical processing of analytical results are discussed and practiced. The course of analytical chemistry ends through a written test which is credited.

Requirements to the exam -

The exam in analytical chemistry is combined, i.e. written and oral. Successful completion of the written test precedes the oral examination before the examining board. Requirements for the written test and oral exam are given by the extent of the lecture. For successful completion of the written test and oral examination is required at least 65% success rate.
