Syllabus -

Experimental and laboratory animals in science and medicine. Ethics of the animal use in research; Czech and European law. The most used species of laboratory and experimental animals. Handling, care, simple chirurgy, appropriate conditions, nutrition, reproduction. Veterinary controls, treatment, diseases. Alternative methods in biology.
