The lectures can be given in English.
Current approaches and methods in karyology (chromosome counting using squash techniques), cytometry (rapid estimation of nuclear DNA content using flow and image cytometries), and palynology (pollen morphology, determination and documentation).

- methods in palynology, preparation and evaluation of pollen samples

- methods in karyology, chromosome countings using rapid squash method

- flow cytometry - ploidy level and total DNA content analyses

- image cytometry - estimation of nuclear DNA content in relative and absolute units, size determination

- palynology:

terminology of pollen morphology + practical observation in permanent slides
pollen determination using dichotomous keys
