Annotation -
The student records this obligation every year until the dissertation defense. It is assumed that it will be completed within the standard period of study, i.e. by the end of the fourth year. The departmental board evaluates the course of study in accordance with this assumption. The maximum period of study is eight years.
As part of KVAR812, the student will submit to the supervisor and the chair of the departmental board a comprehensive text related to the dissertation topic of approximately 20-30 NS that has been published, or at least accepted for peer review, as a scientific study in a peer-reviewed journal (Jimp, Jsc, Jost). In the event that said study is published, it will be considered as fulfilling part of the KVAR809 Supplementary Research Activity requirement.
As part of KVAR813, the student will submit a coherent part of the dissertation (the so-called dissertation thesis) of approximately 50 standard pages, which is intended for defence as the written part of the comprehensive examination (KRIG600) - see below.
As part of KVAR814, the student submits to the supervisor and the chair of the departmental board the completed dissertation, or in justified cases its actual form of at least 100 NS. He/she will provide evidence that he/she has completed the dissertation or will complete it shortly at the end of the standard period of study.
