KJAZ199 Course Biblical Hebrew 1 focuses on the regular verb in the basic conjugation and all six extended forms.
Irregular (weak) verbs are discussed only marginally so that they can be read examples of authentic biblical texts. The basic aid is the Scripture Basics of Old Testament Hebrew, supplemented by a grammatical interpretation in Weingreen's Biblical Hebrew Textbook. Besides analyzing the training sentences the student will learn work with Hebrew biblical text in both printed and electronic versions and use dictionaries and other relevant language tools.
