Subject annotation:
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the principles of scientific text and to help them with writing it, especially with regard to their Bachelor thesis. The students will first be introduced to the parameters of a scientific text, demands on its structure, content and formal arrangement. The theoretical knowledge will be subsequently transferred into practice, first in the discussion of the students' projects, then in a practice. Content: Students will be introduced to the main principles of scientific text composition, with an emphasis on formulation of the problem, creation of an outline - work structure, search for information sources and their assessment from the point of view of the relevance of the key question and further on the formal requirements of the professional text, such as the abstract, keywords, citation rules.
