Annotation -
The course is the second part of two semester block on contemporary ethical theories. The first part is focused on Utilitarian and Kantian theories and this second part is focused on the virtue ethics and natural law ethics. The core of the course is not only history but especially contemporary argumentations.

Information on recent (20th a 21st century) authors of the virtue ethics (Anscombe, MacIntyre, Foot etc.) and natural law ethics (Maritain, Strauss, Finnis, George).
