Students should acquire understanding of complex factors driving current and historical developments of the global media. They should be able to use this understanding for analysis of particular media organization and the context of their operation, as well as for linking it to relevant theories. |

To pass the class, students need to get at least 51 points. There are little tasks throughout the semester, final paper and book review. Students themselves can choose which tasks they want to do in order to obtain the points they aim at, e.g it is fine to skip some tasks or the book review.
