Předmět se zabývá klíčovými událostmi německých právních dějin, když jeho předností je možnost studentů seznámit se přímo se zněním rozhodujících pramenných materiálů (zcela v souladu se současným trendem na předních zahraničních univerzitách). Last update: import (04.06.2004)

The subject is taught for one semester, usually in summer, and it is aimed at providing students with more detailed information on German legal history. as opposed to “traditional lectures“, the advantage of this course is practical work with specific materials, which are sources of law. In practice, this means that at the beginning of the course, students receive copies of studied material, and are set assignments to prepare for the next lessons. Such home preparation becomes a basis for discussions during lessons, which enables students to develop a better understanding of theory. Moreover, during lessons the material is explained and clarified by the teacher of the course. This interactive method of instruction (common at foreign universities) thus enables students to take an active role in their lessons, it supports the development of their rhetorical skills and analytical abilities, as well as better and direct contact with German legal terminology (the materials are in the German original, and therefore at least a reading knowledge of German is required for participation in the course). It is an elective subject within the instruction of legal history. Last update: import (04.06.2004)
