Úvod do Integrativní Medicíny navazuje na poznatky předmětů Základy zdravotní péče, Farmakologie, Farmakognozie, Klinické farmacie, Odborných informací o léčivech, Zdravotnické psychologie a Komunikace pro farmaceuty. Prohlubuje znalosti biopsychosociálního modelu pojetí zdraví a nemoci a jeho uplatnění v praxi farmaceuta v rámci implementace integrativní farmaceutické péče. Výuka je vedena interaktivní a zážitkovou formou. Důraz je kladen na sebereflexi, individuální a týmovou práci.

Learning outcomes -

The subject Introduction to Integrative Medicine builds on the knowledge from the subjects Basics of Health Care, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Clinical Pharmacy, Professional Information about Medicines, Healthcare Psychology, and Communication skills for Pharmacists. It deepens the understanding of the biopsychosocial model of health and illness and its application in the practice of pharmacists within the implementation of integrative pharmaceutical care. The teaching is conducted in an interactive and experiential manner, with an emphasis on self-reflection, individual, and team work.

 

Learning Outcomes: Based on the acquired knowledge and skills, students will be able to:

Ø  Define integrative medicine and its classification.

Ø  Explain the principles of evidence-based medicine in the context of integrative medicine.

Ø  List examples of methods based on biology, body, psyche, energy, and traditional healing systems used in integrative medicine.

Ø  Define the role of the pharmacist in integrative medicine.

Ø  Describe the attitudes of patients and pharmacists towards integrative medicine.

Ø  Assess studies evaluating the effectiveness and safety of integrative medicine methods.

Ø  Describe the legislative framework and standards for providing integrative medicine.

Ø  Justify the importance of integrative medicine in modern healthcare.

Ø  Justify the need for integrative pharmaceutical care.
