Systemic Pharmacology with clinical applications is taught mostly in term 7 and it is practically identical with that taught at the Medical Faculties. Individual pharmaco-therapeutic groups of drugs are presented in such a way as to enable a pharmacist to get good orientation in systemic pharmacology and to be able to give the patient valuable and true pieces of information concerning the usage and possibilities of modification of drug action. The pharmacist should also be acquainted with the indications, contraindications, and adverse effects of drugs and possible pharmacological interactions, including OTC drugs.
