Annotation -

Toxicology is an interdisciplinary scientific branch, which is with respect to the role of a practising pharmacist focused on toxicological aspects of botanical and chemical disciplines, ecology and pharmacology. Undergraduates also get acquainted with the fundamentals of experimental toxicology. Practical training with laboratory animals is replaced by modelling of toxic actions using videofilms. Basic toxicologic testing methods are presented in compliance with guidelines issued by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
