Annotation -
The aim of the subject is to familiarise the students of pharmacy with the principles of cell biology including the structure, function, and reproduction of the cells. We try to emphasize phylogenetic differences, effect of the gene, and the principles of heredity within the scope of classical molecular genetics. Students will be familiarised with the approaches of molecular genetics and the study of the nature of DNA, which is important for acquisition of a basic knowledge of the application into the main areas of cell biology, including genetic engineering.
