Annotation -
Statistics in Bioanalytical Applications deals with classical and modern statistical methods popular in pharmaceutical research. Students will become familiar with basic statistical procedures and the resulting interpretation of results and with other procedures offered by the GraphPad software, in which specific examples from pharmacy and related fields are practiced.

Course completion requirements -
The subject ends with a credit test and an exam. The credit test, which is a condition for the exam, consists in performing statistical analyzes in front of a PC in the GraphPad program. The analyzes are analogous to the analyzes discussed in the seminars. The exam has only a written part - questions from the theory discussed at all lectures and seminars. This is general theoretical knowledge, no details or mathematical derivations are required. 12 test questions (4 offered answers, only 1 of them correct), at least 6 must be answered correctly to pass the exam and get a "good" grade (3). At least 8 questions must be answered correctly for a grade of "very good" (2). At least 10 questions must be answered correctly for a grade of "excellent" (3). The processing time is 40 min. Each student has the right to 3 attempts.
