Annotation -

Pathobiochemistry is based on general biochemistry. It develops the fundamentals of human physiological biochemistry and links up with the explanation of the biochemistry of pathological processes. In the study programmes of the Faculty of Pharmacy it fulfils the following tasks: In the Health-Service Bioanalytics programme it provides the fundamental knowledge for the application of biochemistry in the laboratories of health-service facilities, in the Pharmacy programme it mainly aims at the understanding of the fundamentals of rational pharmacotherapy.
