Annotation -
Course content is a multi-day(4 to 7 days) associated with active and intense movement loads in the winter terrain. The content of the courses is to get acquainted with the character of winter activities, safety rules, material technical basis and the development and consolidation of the physical abilities and skills necessary for the given physical activity. The course is designed for advanced skiers.

Learning outcomes

Learning Outcomes after Completing the Ski Course Develop the Following Areas:

Improvement of Skiing Skills: Students will be able to refine their skiing techniques, including basic skills such as snowplow, turns, riding the lift, and more advanced techniques such as carving and skiing in various terrains.

Knowledge of Slope Safety: Students will gain awareness of safety rules on the slopes, including proper behavior on the lift, adherence to signs and signals, and how to prevent accidents.

Physical Fitness: Students will improve their physical fitness, including strength, endurance, and coordination, which are essential for safe and effective skiing.

Orientation in Mountain Environment: Students will learn to navigate the mountain environment, including reading maps, recognizing hazardous areas, and basic survival skills in the mountains.

Teamwork: Students will develop teamwork and communication skills, which are important during group activities and ensuring the safety of all participants.

Personal and Social Development: Students will have the opportunity to develop their personal and social skills, such as self-discipline, self-confidence, and respect for others.

Motivation for Lifelong Sport: Students will be motivated to continue skiing and other winter sports even after the course ends, contributing to their long-term health and well-being.
