The core of the subject consist of knowledge in health care and medical psychology which includes the areas of problems: The subject of psychology and its application in healthcare, especially in pharmacy. • Methods of medical psychology, research, diagnosis, therapy. • Challenging life situations (stress, frustration, conflict). • Psychohygiene and stress management techniques. • Bio-psycho-social model of the disease, autoplastic processing of the pathogenic situation. • Psychological aspects of patients diagnosed with pain. • Psychological aspects of patients diagnosed with cardiovascular disease. • Psychological aspects of patients diagnosed with insomnia. • Psychological aspects of patients diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. • Psychological aspects of patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. • Basic categories and the patient's attitude towards the disease. • Pain, anxiety and fear, experiencing illness over time.
