Annotation -
The subject Chemical Laboratory Techniques introduces students to basic and advanced methods used in chemical laboratories. Students will learn the function and use of the basic equipment of the chemical laboratory, as well as with modern methods of synthesis of inorganic and organic substances, methods of separation of substances, their purification and characterization.

3 Purification of compounds - distillation, sublimation, extraction; preparation of solutions

4 Acid-base reactions, neutralization, preparation of weak acids, precipitation reactions, working with gases

5 Oxidation-reduction reactions, synthesis of organic compounds

6 Preparation of co-ordination compounds, preparation of organic compounds, steam distillation, vacuum distillation
