Annotation -
The scope of the subject includes the information about medical devices available in the pharmacies, i. e. absorbent cotton, gauze, bandages, plasters, wound care products, compressing bandages and stockings, means for diabetic and incontinence patients, ostomy appliances, orthopedic supports. The teaching is oriented at the composition and construction of the devices and at learning about the properties and knowledge of the right way of using the specific medical devices.
