Annotation -
This subject extends high school botany knowledge by using mainly morphological, anatomical and phytochemical information for the identification of medicinal plants and drugs. Focusing on the biogenetic pathways of substances with specialized metabolisms in the plant kingdom is a suitable preparation for the study of a related subject pharmacognosy.
