The aim of regular semestral teaching is maintaining and improving the students' physical condition as a compensation of their demanding mental work, stimulation of a regular effort to practise sports and games after finishing their study.

Students have to take in both semestr (take part in) 22 hours out of 26 in order to get credits. (11 hours in one semestr)

Students entering university build on the knowledge and skills acquired during their secondary education. In the field of physical education, this includes, for example: basic physical fitness, sports skills, knowledge of rules and safety, teamwork, and the basics of a healthy lifestyle. These knowledge and skills from high school form the foundation on which students can further build during their university studies. Learning Outcomes: Improvement of Physical Fitness: Students will be able to improve their overall physical fitness, including strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination, through regular participation in various sports activities. Development of Sports Skills: Students will acquire and refine specific skills in the individual sports they choose, at various levels of proficiency (beginners, intermediate, advanced). Knowledge of Rules and Techniques: Students will become familiar with the rules, techniques, and tactics of individual sports, enabling them to engage in sports activities effectively and safely. Teamwork and Fair Play: Students will develop teamwork, communication, and fair play skills, which are essential for successful participation in team sports such as basketball, football, volleyball, and others. Personal and Social Development: Students will have the opportunity to develop their personal and social skills, such as self-discipline, self-confidence, respect for others, and conflict resolution. Health and Safety Awareness: Students will gain awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle, injury prevention, and safety measures during sports activities. Motivation for Lifelong Sport: Students will be motivated to continue participating in sports and physical activities even after the course ends, contributing to their long-term health and well-being.
