Annotation

Medical Czech will be based on the doctor-patient dialogue. The topics will follow the practical activities done in the hospital. The teaching aim will be to develop communication skills and ability to find out the important facts from the patients’ medical history. Building language confidence and wider vocabulary range with the help of modern equipment such as video films and power point presentations will become an essential part of the lessons. Language skills will be focused on speaking and listening.

Aim of the course

Students will be able to communicate with their patients on the level A1+. They can take patient´s history, explain the illnes or give advice to their patient.
