The aim of the subject is represented by preparing the interested students from the surgical point of view on emergency conditions, which may occur in this or other countries where our people are being delegated. This subject won't repeat the surgical lectures but it will supplement knowledge and skills that ought to be mastered by a surgeon during emergency conditions and catastrophes.

Úkolem předmětu bude připravit zájemce z řad posluchačů po chirurgické stránce na možné mimořádné situace, které mohou nastat u nás nebo kdekoliv ve světě, kam naši lidé často v rámci poskytované pomoci jsou odesíláni. Předmět nebude opakovat témata přednášená v systematických přednáškách, ale bude je doplňovat poskytnutím znalostí a dovedností, která by měl lékař - chirurg při zásahu v mimořádných podmínkách a při různých katastrofách mít.
