An interdisciplinary practical seminar focuses on the integration of palliative and supportive care into the World
Health Organization's concept of health. The aim is to develop the competences in psychology, communication and ethics needed for quality and comprehensive care of patients and their relatives in particularly challenging medical situations (palliative care, care of the chronically ill). The key competences to be developed will include the ability to perceive the patient in complexity, the development of skills in co-decision making about the care plan, coping with emotionally challenging situations and, last but not least, self-care. Specifically, the focus will be on analyzing specific situations, practicing role-play skills, self-reflection and group reflection. Last update: Křikavová Lenka, Ing. (07.08.2024)
