Treatment of the cavities which will be filled with esthetic materials. Basical properties of composites, glass - ionomer cements, compomers Adhesive preparation, acid-etched technique, bonding to the enamel and dentin. Treatment of the 3rd and 4th class cavities and other lesions of the cervical part of the tooth. Treatment of cavities in posterior teeth with esthetic material. Moisture control, kofferdam. Cast metal and porcelain intracoronal restorations. Applications, working procedure step by step using direct and indirect method. Different ways in making the 4th class cavity more retentive. Diseases of the dental hard tissues - non microbial origin. Dental caries - etiology, Miller's theory. Different types of dental caries according to the involved tissues, pulp proximity, progression speed. Symptomatology and diagnosing of dental caries. Basic preventive rules. Practicals The preparation of the first class cavity for inlay 47, wax impresion by direct method, spruing, investing the wax pattern. The cementation of the cast metal inlay and its finishing. Shaping of the composite inlay on the die and polymeration in "lightening" chamber. Slice preparation of the OM cavity for cast metal inlay. Indirect method, Stomaflex impression. Demonstration of an endodontical instruments. Root canal preparation 11, 33, 14. 11 filling of the root canal with paste consistence material and central gttp point. 33 filling with zinc phosphate cement and gttp point. 14 technic of lateral condensation filling. Student dobře rozpozná jednotlivé zuby a zná způsob značení zubů. Student rozpozná jednotlivé pomůcky používané v záchovném zubním lékařství a umí je správně používat. Student zvládne teoreticky i prakticky preparace jednotlivých kariezních lézí, umí z jednotlivých materiálů zhotovit výplň. Student rozpozná jednotlivé kořenové nástroje a umí je správně používat. Student teoreticky i prakticky ovládá pracovní postup endodontického ošetření včetně zaplnění kořenových kanálků. Posluchač prokazuje obecnou znalost současných možností náhrady ztracených zubů a souvisejících tkání. V části praktické si osvojuje práci se základním instrumentariem, preparačními nástroji a způsobem ovládání preparační techniky. Vykazuje znalost bezpečnosti práce.
