Basic procedures in dentoalveolar surgery and their complications.
Local anesthesia used in dentoalveolar surgery, the pharmacology of local anesthetics and the route of their administration.
Imaging methods in dentoalveolar surgery.
Fundamentals of acceptable behavior and rituals in the operating room.
Medically compromised patient management in oral surgery.
Odontogenic infections-etiology, pathophysiology, pathways of spreading (topographical anatomy of the head & neck), clinical manifestation and management of odontogenic infections including deep neck space infections.
