The study of the relationship between living conditions resp. life style and health state of both individuals and population groups as well as the occursence of civilization diseases. Primary and secondary prevention as an counterpart of the special medical subjects and the general medicine. Health support and promotion under the novel socio-economical and political conditions. The monitoring of various environmental factors and the system of biomonitoring. Risk assessment and risk control of in-door and out-door surroundings. The evaluation of dietary pattern.

Studium vztahu životních podmínek a životního stylu ke zdraví jednotlivcu a populacních skupin a k výskytu civilizacních nemocí. Primární a sekundární prevence ve vztahu ke speciálním lékarským oborum a k všeobecnému lékarství. Podpora a posilování zdraví v nových spolecenských a politických podmínkách. Systém monitoringu fyzikálních, chemických, biologických a sociálních faktoru životního prostredí a systém biomonitoringu. Analýza, hodnocení a rešení zdravotních rizik v pracovním a prírodním prostredí. Kontrola a hodnocení stravovacích zvyklostí a výživového stavu osob a populacních skupin.
