Student chápe význam anatomického propojení pulpy a periodoncia při rozvoji pulpoparodontálních onemocněních a má teoretické podklady pro jejich diagnostiku. Student ví, jak zabránit komplikacím při ošetřování kořenových kanálků. Student je schopen klinicky i rentgenologicky resorptivní procesy zubního kořene i obliteraci kořenového kanálku.
