Annotation -
The course focuses on developing physical abilities and skills, with an emphasis on comprehensive bodyweight strength training, proper technique of basic exercises, running and agility drills, stability and mobility training, health-oriented exercises, and movement games. Classes are held once a week, lasting up to 90 minutes. The course is suitable not only for beginners but also for students with a basic level of physical fitness. In the winter semester 2025/2026, classes take place on Tuesdays from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charles University Sports Centre in Hostivař (Bruslařská 10, Prague 10) and nearby outdoor areas. Sessions will be held partly indoors and partly outdoors, depending on weather conditions and the focus of the lesson. Aim of the course -
The aim of this course is acquaintance, teaching and practical training leading to increased physical condition, primarily focused on fitness running and complex bodyweight strenght training. Introduction to the theoretical foundations, basic principles and physiological effects of sports training. The course is also meant for beginners.

Syllabus -

Brief syllabus of the course: This course provides instruction and practice opportunities to increase physical fitness mainly focused on jogging and comprehensive strengthening using your own body weight. Familiarization with the theoretical foundations and the physiological effects of sports training. The course is designed for complete beginners as well.


- Fitness runs 30-70 minutes, the distance 5-10 km

- Running technique

- Strengthening the body svlastním

- Theoretical foundations of physical load

- The use of basic tools for strength training in natural conditions (TRX, expanders)

- Continuous surveillance by testing.

- Classes take place 1x per week for 60 minutes.

- The subject is taught also in English
