Time frame: 6:45am – 2:15pm, 4 times during the academic year (30 hrs in total). One day will be different –
morning ward round in standard ward followed by urology clinic.
The course is designed for 4th grade students with interest in surgical specialities who wish to get an idea of the
field of urology and what a typical day in the department looks like.

The student is supposed to start the day with the attending doctor in the intensive care unit morning round at 7:00 and shadow him/her to the morning hand-over meeting, assisting in the operation theatre and assessing and managing post-surgical inpatients. - theoretical lectures Theoretical seminars take place at the Urology Clinic of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of Thomayer, practical assistance during procedures also takes place at the Urology Clinic of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of the University and FTN.
