It is a part of preventive medicine module. The course will inform students about noise, vibration, overloading of locomotory system, dust, ionizing radiation and some chemicals and about their influence on health. Some part of the course will be dedicated to the problems of the travel medicine and assessment of suitability for work from the point of view of health status. The student will be informed about health risks at workplaces and they will visit some factory.

The main task of the subject is to inform students about the hygiene of work and more importantly about the clinical occupational medicine, and to bring the basic information about diseases connected with work notified as occupational diseases. The other task of this subject is to give some information about adverse effects of certain work´s and workplace´s factors of work and workplaces and about problems linked up with travelling abroad.
