The main task of the subject is to inform students about the hygiene of work and more importantly about the clinical occupational medicine, and to bring the basic information about diseases connected with work notified as occupational diseases. The other task of this subject is to give some information about adverse effects of certain work´s and workplace´s factors of work and workplaces and about problems linked up with travelling abroad. |

Factors influencing the health status at work: Factors physical, chemical and biological - noise, vibrations, ionizing radiation, overloading, dust, chemicals and infections. Occupational diseases, professional accidents (accidents at work), principles of health care for employees, health risks at workplace, travel medicine, personal protection. Case studies of interesting cases from occupational health practice. Excursion to the chosen factory. |
