Lessons on pathologic anatomy and pathologic physiology are included into the problem-oriented courses of the Module IIC. The topics of pathology lessons correspond to theme of particular course.

Aim of the course -
The aim of the subject is to provide students information on causes and mechanisms of basic pathologic processes and pathomorphologic characteristics of diseases.The course interconnects functional and morphological knowledge obtained in foregoing years and clinical specialties. It is essential for understanding principals of scientific medicine.

Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s příčinami a mechanismy základních patologických procesů a patomorfologickými obrazy základních nosologických jednotek.Předmět tvoří propojení mezi funkčními a morfologickými znalostmi získanými v minulých letech a klinickými obory. Je nezbytnou průpravou pro pochopení principů vědecké mediciny.

Requirements to the exam -
Conditions for getting a credit from pathological physiology:
1.Passing the pre-exam test from pathophysiology.
Terms for test writing will be done at the beginning of the summer term.
The test has the multiple-choice form. The students need 75% and more correct answers for successful passing.
2.Knowledge of the topics taught throughout the term. The principal way of evaluation is the case study individually given to and discussed with the teachers after writing the test. Students can use textbooks when they prepare the case study discussion, that´s why there is not the list of case studies on the faculty web pages.
If the student does not meet the teachers requirements for the credit (passing the test or sufficient knowledge of the pathophysiological principals of the case study), he (she) has another chance to write the test and to discuss the case study. If he (she) has failed again, the next possibility of getting credit is the examination by professor Mareš or other teachers of pathophysiology.
Students, who passed credit during the last school year, may not repeat it again. The credit is admitted.

Podmínky pro zápočet z patologické fyziologie v rámci modulu IIC
Zápočet z patologické fyziologie (součást integrovaného zápočtu z patologické anatomie a fyziologie) bude udělován
sistenty oddělení patologické fyziologie po úspěšném (75%) splnění MCQ testu a následném rozboru zadané
kazuistiky.
Termíny pro testy budou vypsány na začátku letního semestru. Místo konání testů bude v posluchárně (Ruská;1. termín hromadně) zadání kazuistik a jejich rozbor (event. opakování testů)
bude na Oddělení patologické fyziologie. Termíny budou vypsány na začátku letního semestru.
S každým studentem proběhne diskuse nad testem a individuální kazuistikou. Zadání kazuistiky nebudou znát
studenti předem. Kasuistiky jsou vybírány z celého rozsahu výuky patologické fyziologie. K jejich rozboru mohou
studenti používat přinesené učebnice, proto není seznam kasuistik vyvěšen na webových stránkách fakulty.
Test může psát student pouze dvakrát. Pokud nebude úspěšný (má méně než 75% správných odpovědí), bude z
požadovaného rozsahu znalostí přezkoušen ústně. Ústní zkoušení ve stejném rozsahu bude rovněž v případě, že
studentovi nebude uznán rozbor kazuistiky (rozbor patogenezy onemocnění a odpověď na zadané otázky). Termíny
ústního přezkoušení budou vypsány podle výsledků testů a rozboru kasuistik.
Studenti opakující ročník, kteří mají zápočet z patologické fyziologie z minulého roku, se testů a rozboru kasuistiky
neúčastní, zápočet je jim uznán.
Bez udělení zápočtu není možno skládat zkoušku z modulu IIC.
Podmínky pro zápočet z patologie v rámci modulu IIC
Účast na praktických cvičeních jednotlivých předepsaných kurzů modulu IIC je povinná. Omluvit lze 20% absenci, ale pouze ze závažných důvodů (například nemoc).
Úspěšné absolvování testu na konci kurzů:
Poruchy nervového systému
Dušnost a bolest na hrudníku
GIT a břišní potíže
Nádorová onemocnění
Poruchy reprodukce a vývoje plodu.
K úspěšnému absolvování testu je třeba správně zodpovědět 70% otázek. Pokud student nesplní podmínky testu koná dvě opravy též formou testu.
Pokud student nesplní podmínky testu ani po 2. opravě, absolvuje ústní přezkoušení pověřeným asistentem.
