During the lecture we show all types of burn trauma, their classification, first aid and treatment by localization, extension and degree of the burn. We demonstrate communication with patients especially with children and with elderly burned people. We demonstrate lasting sequels after deep burns and possibility their improvement.

Úvodním seminářem jsou studenti seznámeni se všemi typy popáleninového traumatu, klasifikací, první pomocí a způsoby ošetřování podle stupňů, lokalizace a rozsahu úrazu. Praktika ukazují studentům komunikaci s popálenými pacienty se zvláštním zaměřením na dětské pacienty a postižené pokročilého věku, s převazovou technikou a event. trvalými následky po úrazech a možnostmi jejich zmírnění. Praktika jsou závislá na momentálním složení pacientů, kteří přicházejí k převazu nebo hospitalizaci.

Syllabus -
Classification of burns by depth, extension, and localization, first aid and preparation of the patient for transportation. Classification of patients by age and treatment during hospitalization. Therapy during acute period, during burn shock, conservative and surgery treatment, necrectomy, avulsion, auto-grafting, mesh-grafting, treatment of the donor areas. Therapy after heeling, principles of rehabilitation, compressive therapy. Principles of reconstructive operations, with demonstration its results and results of long-period therapy.

Klasifikace hloubky popálenin, hodnocení podle rozsahu a lokalizace úrazu, první pomoc, zajištění pacienta na transport. Klasifikace s ohledem na věkové skupiny, ošetřování hospitalizovaných pacientů, zvláštnosti v neodkladném období, řešení popáleninového šoku. Konservativní a operační řešení popálenin, nekrektomie, avulze, transplantační techniky, meshování (síťování) transplantátů, příprava plochy k transplantaci, její další ošetřování a péče o odběrové plochy. Terapie po zahojení, časná a pozdní rehabilitace a kompresivní terapie. Zásady rekonstrukčních reparativních operací, demonstrace jejich výsledků, demonstrace trvalých následků.
