Annotation -
Multi-day sports courses focused on downhill, cross-country skiing and snowboarding in ski resorts in the Czech Republic and abroad. The teaching methods of the winter sports course are practical exercises and theoretical seminars. In the academic year 2024/2025, courses are offered on the following dates: 17.1.-26.1.2025 (France - Alpe d'Huez), 9.2.-14.2.2025 (Bohemia - chalet Erlebach), 9.2.-15.2.2025 (Austria – Leisacherhof). Aim of the course -
Acquisition or development of practical skills in the field of cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding combined with the expansion of theoretical knowledge about winter outdoor activities.

Syllabus -

The courses are focused on the development (or acquisition) of skills and motor skills in downhill and cross-country skiing and snowboarding leading to the improvement of riding technique, both practical and theoretical forms of teaching.

 

Theoretical seminars:

- mountain medicine - avalanches, first aid, hypothermia, frostbite;

- the latest trends in winter activities;

- modern technologies, including consulting - skis, snowboards, clothing, footwear, accessories ...

- individual analyzes of students' driving on video.

Practical seminars:

- modification of skis and snowboards - grinding, lubrication and cleaning.

Offer of activities:

- downhill skiing;

- cross country skiing;

- snowboard;

- downhill, running and snowboarding for complete beginners
