Annotation -
Following the teaching of biophysics to explain the physical and technical principles of modern medical imaging methods and to introduce main radiological procedures and possibilities of therapy.

Aim of the course -

Primary aim: to overview modern diagnostic modalities in radiology and nuclear medicine, hybrid imaging included
Secondary aim: to explain a good praxis in indicating diagnostic examinations and therapeutic procedures in radiology and nuclear medicine.
Terciary aim: respecting the european legislation to explain the basic principles of radiation protection of patients and personnel.

Requirements to the exam -

For credit 85% presence on practical courses (radiology and nuclear medicine) is required.

The exam is in the form of "multiple choice" test, at least 70% points are necessary to pass the test.

In case of failed test, second attempt is again in the form of the test and the third attempt is in the form of an oral resit exam from nuclear medicine (one question) and radiology (two questions).

Questions for resit exam will be published in Výuka application.
