Annotation
The course focuses on a deeper understanding of information systems in healthcare, covering both the systems used by individual healthcare facilities (EMR, PACS, etc.) and the overarching and interconnected systems (ePrescription, EHR, ePACS), as well as systems primarily aimed at the general public. These systems are also discussed in the context of eGovernment in the Czech Republic. The topics covered include: • The current situation of national eHealth systems in the Czech Republic • New trends in eHealth in the Czech Republic • eGovernment in the Czech Republic and its connection with eHealth • Information systems in hospitals in the Czech Republic (HIS, LIS, RIS, and other subsystems) • Information systems in the outpatient and primary care sector in the Czech Republic • Information systems for the general
