English

The course is a direct sequel of Practical Approach to Data analysis 1 (PADA 1). While PADA 1 is focused on descriptive analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, this course (PADA 2) concerns mostly the inferential analysis (hypotheses testing) of quantitative data. Using examples from literature and various ongoing tasks, students will learn to analyze quantitative data using various statistical tests.

Cílem předmětu je poskytnout studentům komplexnější představu o pokročilých statistických metodách a modelech biomedicínské statistiky s akcentem na vybrané nadstavbové aplikace použitelné v adiktologii. Popis struktury předmětu / hl. témata: Statistické operace: Statistická srovnání - regresní schémata; Úvod do generalizovaných lineárních modelů (lineární, logistické, Poisson, modely přežití); Lineární regrese pro porovnání více skupin: ANOVA; Variace: Testy hypotéz; Jednoduchá lineární regrese pro kontinuální proměnné; Vícenásobné lineární regrese; Sklony sklonů ke kontrole potenciálního zmatení; Regrese protokolu pro binární odpovědi: 2x2 tabulky a další; Log Reg: ANCOVA; Velikost vzorku; Analýza přežití.
