Aim of the course
The aim of the course is to provide an overview of medical psychology, including a brief history of the subject as well as current trends and research. Students will learn the basics of communication with the patient and his close surroundings. An introduction to ethics within medical psychology will be discussed. Furthermore, students will get acquainted with the biopsychosocial approach to the patient and a comprehensive approach to the patient.
