The contents of Preclinical Dental Medicine is basic acquaintance with speciality, with detailed morphology of oral
cavity and permanent and deciduous teeth. The students master the terminology and notation of teeth, as well as
the classifications of caries cavities. They learn to examine a patient and to take a dental X-ray. They acquire basic
knowledge of dental materials, dental practice equipment and dental unit use. They perform basic working
procedures for caries and periodontal diseases treatment and for teeth extractions. Practical trainings take place in
phantom classroom on dental simulators and partly in dental office.
