The summary and scope of knowledge enables the graduates of internships a common orientation in the issue of ENT diseases, in their recognition, differential diagnosis and treatment, acquaints with the possible complications of these diseases and their treatment. It provides an idea of the position of otorhinolaryngology and its connection to other fields of medicine, acquaints with the special methods used in the ENT area.

Souhrn a rozsah znalostí umožňuje absolventům stáží běžnou orientaci v problematice ORL onemocnění, v jejich rozpoznání, diferenciální diagnostice a léčbě, seznamuje s možnými komplikacemi těchto onemocnění a jejich léčbou. Poskytuje představu o postavení otorhinolaryngologie a její návaznosti na ostatní obory medicíny, seznamuje se speciálními metodami v ORL oblasti užívanými.
