Syllabus

General surgery:

main principles of asepsis and antisepsis, wounds and injuries therapy, infection in surgery, investigation of surgically ill patients, arrangements before surgical procedure, surg.procedure, postoperative care, shock.

Special surgery:

thoracic surgery, surgery of the breast, gastrointestinal tract,acute abdomen, surgery of hernias, endocrine surgery, traumatology, basics of transplantology. surgical procedures:debridement of the wound, types of bandages, diagnostics of hernias,investigation of patients, participation in the operating theatre.
