Annotation
Introduction into rehabilitation, basic terminology in RHB, basics of physical therapy. The importance of multidisciplinary rehabilitation team work. Clinical work at General Teaching Hospital departments under a supervision of rehabilitation physicians and physiotherapists. Individual work of students with patients aftre TBI in a daily treatment centre. Basic legislation in rehabilitation - WHO, EU and Czech Republic. Formulation of a short and long-time plan in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Rehabilitation in surgery and traumatology

Introduction into music therapy

The role of special teacher in rehabilitation

Theo role of psychologist in rehabilitation

Introduction into the problems of the patients after brain injury and traumatic brain injury

Daily treatment center for patients after brain injury, rehabilitation of the patients after brain injury

Physiotherapy in neurorehabilitation, using of modern technology in rehabilitation

Basic principles of physical therapy

Pain in rehabilitation, treatment possibilities

Legislation in rehabilitation, rehabilitation and sport.

Practical lectures:

Clinical work with rehabilitation medical doctors and physiotherapists takes place at clinical departments (Department od Rehabilitation Medicine, Faculty Health Centre, Surgical Department, Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology)

During students´clinical practical lessons they will examine also the patients after brain injury mainly at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
