The aim of this block of lectures is not only to summarize acquired knowledge on microbiology and immunulogy, but to covert thinking of future physicians to respect consequences and make differential diagnostics for benefit of patient. To show evidence of close cooperation of different medical specialists in completing the mosaic of patient diagnosis and treatment and the role of paraclinical subject in this cooperation. A five day block of lectures. Systemic approach to infectious diseases and their agents. Each topic lectured by a microbiologist (pathogens infecting the tract), a pathologist (morphological changes caused by infectiion), and a clinician (clinical symptoms, diagnostics and therapy). 2022 update - the lectures will be held in person as scheduled in the SIS. The attendance will be checked upon entrance and when leaving = twice a day = by means of electronic ISIC registration in the lecture room. Full attendance is required to get the credit.
