The course is designed for students who have basic knowledge of standard Spanish at A2 level. The course develops basic language competencies and academic skills to achieve B1 level. Textbook: Vente 2 (B1/B1+) 2014. The chapters of the textbook form the axis of instruction. The language taught is mainly Spanish. The course is a one-semester course, 2x2 hours per week. The aim of the course is to improve all language skills (speaking, reading, listening, speaking) at B1 level. Students will understand the main ideas of clear written input on common topics they encounter regularly at work, school, leisure, etc. They will learn to manage common situations that may arise when travelling in Spanish-speaking countries. They will learn to write simple, coherent texts on topics they know well or are personally interested in. Credit requirements: The course ends with a credit.
